Langtang Region Trekking, Langtang Trekking Nepal

Langtang Valley and Gosainkund Pass

Trek starts from an overland journey to Dunche, the main trading post of the area. From there you spend the next four days hiking up through the beautiful alpine valley to Kyangjin where you rest for a day for some exploration. Then you trail back for three days before a journey to the sacred lakes of Gossainkund, a major pilgrimage sight for both Hindus and Buddhists. You cross the Laurebina pass (4600 mts) and then drop into the lush Helambu region and explore various cultural differences before eventually finishing the trek.
